Below I showcase a range of my art direction and design from memoirs, biographies of celebrities, sports and cookbooks, to business and humor. I would like to add that the conceptualization for James Earl Jones’ book jacket was the first time I designed a front cover without text. It was my vision to flip the book, back to front, since everybody knows his face. In the case of the Baseball Encyclopedia, it was the first edition with imagery rather than just a solid color background (old textbook look.) Some of the featured illustrators and photographers: David Shannon, Wendell Minor, Greg Spalenka, Peter Fiore and Jim Cornfield.
